There are a variety of tools that can log your music stats to tunelog. These tools will quietly sit on your computer and send up the info about each song you play, along with other fun features.
The iTunes tool is your best bet. It sits quietly in your system tray and posts the tunes you are playing:

It is a separate program from iTunes that monitors what iTunes is playing. After installing it, you will need to run the tuneLogger program and log in. You can close the tuneLogger window - it will stay in your system tray.
Thanks to Moe [moe's tunelog stats] for writing the iTunes tool for Windows.

Thanks to Dave [dave's tunelog stats] for writing a Squeezebox plugin. We'll post a link or the download when he's finalized it. Contact us in the meantime to get a copy.
Alternatively, you don't have to download anything: you can listen to Pandora and tunelog will track all the tunes it plays for you.
We are starting to work on some widgets you can put on your blog or webpage to show your tunelog stats. Pretty basic right now.
We'll be working on making the iTunes plugin kick ass. But we're also hoping that people like you will write all sorts of tools and mashups that will make the experience better for everyone. Let us know what you do and we'll post links to your websites and downloads here.
